This is for the Kimi team and Kent. I just wanted to say that you have a fabulous site and just to say thank you for providing us with hours of fun. I know the site is run on a shoe string and you only have a small team but I have a couple of problems and I hoping you can help me out please. The first thing is the front page and why we are never on there I know new people are making 1000s of Kimis every hour and there is only so much you can put on the front page my problem is its always the same people I was just wondering why. We all work really hard making our Kimis and we are not getting any credit for the hard work we do.

 

 

I have some suggestions could you not do a new front page and let all of us pick one kimi to go on it for 24 hours then if we don't get any hits then its down to us. Also for the Kimi fans let them pick two Kimis then may be more people will become Kimi fans. Kent I know I'm moaning its just that I'm so fed up I'm going down in rank. There are some lovely people on this site who are creating beautiful Kimis and I think everyone should be treated the same way please Kent there must be something you can do to put things right.

Also could you not have Rancher as a moderator as Rancher does a really good job in the forum.

We try to make Imikimi meet everyones needs as best we can. Our system primarily features an even mix of popular Kimis and the recent Kimis. You will see lots of Kimis from the most popular artists because those are the Kimis many people want to Customize. It is important to provide the Kimis people want to use. However, we believe, as I believe you do, that diversity is important. So, the system pulls a set of the newest Kimis. Then, we do some hand tweaking of the end results in a few places to add even more diversity. The most important thing to realize is ultimately what ends up getting customized is largely based on if it is something people want to customize and, more importantly, it looks good as a thumbnail - which is what people see first. If it is a good looking thumbnail image, they'll click on it to see the full image. However, if it doesn't look good as a thumbnail they may never customize it even if it looks great full-sized.

We are constantly trying to improve the system. We want to discourage the abusive uses and encourage diversity, .....hello quality and promote a fun, playful atmosphere. 

You have made a lot of great Kimis. I understand if you have lost interest in making new Kimis, but we'd very-much like you to leave the Kimis you have made up for others to enjoy. It would be a shame for such good work to no-longer be seen.

I think I have proved that if your Kimi is on the front page then people will Customize them on Sunday I had Three Kimis on the front page and got over 1000 Customize Kimis. Please change the system as its not working thank you Ann xxxxx

Wednesday she had three on front page. today she had two I would love to know why. Kent look at the pictures here they are what you call fab. Im going to write down every Kimi she has on the front page for everyone to see.
